Overview

The Kareri Lake trek immerses you in nature at its finest, leading you through dense pine and oak forests, mossy boulders beside winding streams, and vibrant wildflowers. At the summit, the pristine lake mirrors the breathtaking Dhauladhar mountains.

As you climb, the landscape shifts from lush broadleaf woods into open meadows dotted with deodars. A babbling stream and small waterfalls accompany you most of the way. While the trek begins with a gentle incline, it gradually grows steeper, though rocky stairs carved into the path help make the climb manageable.
